Vito Corleone Wardrobe
The Godfather II has some great period clothing.

Robert De Niro as Vito Corleone sports some nice caps, braces, long johns, shirts with a variety of collars (big, rounded, and no collar).

You should dress like this when you are starting your own underground organised criminal society.
Check out the Godfather series if you haven't seen it before. It's on blu-ray if you have the hardware.
On a side note: I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which has some interesting wardrobe viewing.

"Filmmakers worked closely with Levi's to obtain clothing items from their Levi's Vintage Clothing collection to authenticate various time periods captured throughout the film."
If you're time-poor, then I'd recommend watching the Godfather rather than Benjamin Button.

Anyone know what kind of jacket that he's wearing in that bottom picture? It's the one from the scene when he kills the blank hand boss. Brown button up jacket with a stood up collar, looks wool. Almost like a tanker jacket but with buttons. Any ideas please let me know jessejamesv@comcast.net
