I thought they would have had more of a defined wash on them. Mine didnt either, kinda disappointed in mine. 2000 no.2
I should've added some text to this blogpost.
I actually really like them.
- After the wash they are more fitted.
- They retained more of their creasing than I expected (a good thing).
The "wash" appearance does depend on how much you have worn them. My nerd lifestyle doesn't cause much fading. I wasn't dissapointed... the faded seat and raw legs is a good honest reflection of a dorky inner city internet developer.
Great hige, Matt, the jeans I mean!
When I was working in the Naka Meguro store, this sort of rough and ready wear was what everyone was after. Some of the guys (and girls) I worked with actually washed their jeans all the time with no detergent to make them fade more. The first time I heard of not washing jeans was when I got back to Aus, so my guess it is more of an American or English practice than a Japanese one..
Now I just have to get some wear into my Samurai's so they get hige too!

Hi nice jeans..I wonder I like the picture format, I wonder what do you use for the background and any special lighting technic? nice fading on your jeans
what about that brushing thing? isn´t it working well?
@Ethan: Thanks man! I always love your stories about working at Evisu.
@Iron Denim: I just use a white cloth as the background. No flash.
@robin.benito: Yes. I'm still doing the brushing thing. I think you could do it instead of washing, but I'm using it to delay washing. Washing can help increase the contrast.
Nice Jeans, I have the same ones, 32 waist and all, but mine are black and red gulls. I'm surprised how much your paint faded, I've had mine since Winter and they have only cracked. Maybe washing them before wearing affected it. Did you have them taken up at all?
